Development for a recognized practice leader in Mobile Marketing and Mobile Business Solutions. The VP of New Business Development will build on our client’s success in revolutionizing how the world’s most recognized brands use bleeding edge Mobile Technology.

Job Description
This is a thrilling and challenging opportunity for an experienced executive to lead a New Business Development P&L and to orchestrate an internationally scalable sales model around the industry’s most innovative mobile products and marketing solutions. The VP of New Business Development will head up all Agency Client Services and Business Development efforts and will report directly to the CEO.

*Define scope, recommended approach, and manage execution of major client acquisition
*Direct ongoing client relationships in order to consistently exceed client expectations and strengthen their overall client/ agency relationship
*Serve as thought leader in sales strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives
*Extend client relationships into increasingly more actionable and value added services
*Convince clients of the value of strategic services to their business – help them define needs and potential mobile solutions
*Play an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches, identify new opportunities and establish relationships with prospective clients, participate in or lead several new business initiatives simultaneously
*Provide methodological support, coaching, and training to sales staff
*Create a team environment and participate in growing present Business Development teams of up to 10 Manager level direct reports

Qualifications

*10+ years of business experience in a Sr. Level Business Development, *Marketing, or Client Services with an Interactive/ Mobile Agency required

*Agency experience is strongly preferred, though not required

*In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care)

*Experience in Digital/Social/Mobile Marketing is required.

*MBA is preferred

*Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills

*Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects across internal teams and client relationships

*Must live or be willing to relocate to the Greater NYC area
